Baldur's Gate 3 [1492 DR]
Baldur's Gate III, Artwork from Baldur's Gate III, both published 2023
This page will have the most content by far, there are a ton of mentions of Lathander in this game. Which is a delight! I really like how Lathander is represented. :) Check out the "all dialogue" or "all books" pages for a complete list of bg3 mentions.
Description:
The Morninglord is the god of the dawn and spring, of birth and beginnings. He is invoked to christen both new ventures and new life. His followers embrace growth and renewal, and despise the undead.

Vicar Humbletoes, Stormshore Tabernacle:
A beam of morning sun enters - be welcome, cleric of Lathander.
Player (Cleric of Lathander), Last Light Inn:
Lathander's favour and Selûne's protection - darkness doesn't stand a chance.
Isobel:
Our Lady has always admired the Morninglord - let's hope you prove her right.
Narrator, Monastery Plaque:
*Walk in the way of dawn, for Lathander cannot protect you where the light doth not reach.*
Player, Rosymorn Monastery Courtyard:
Undead crushed underfoot. The Dawnlord certainly knows how to make space for new life.
Player (Wyll Origin), Rosymorn Monastery:
Lathander, god of dawn and renewal. And fertility, wouldn't you know!
Player (Cleric or Paladin of Helm), Rosymorn Monastery:
A monument to Lathander, god of dawn - and killer of Helm's lover. The bastard.
Oskar Fevras, Zhentarim Dungeon:
You can SHOVE your boots where even Lathander can't light - I'm no one's slave!

Good morning, Lathander (I suppose all mornings for you are good, you making them up out of all the bright bits of night and getting them shine worthy and such). I have two new boys (Luke & Elliott), and I should like them to see lots of your nice sunups. So if you would watch over them, I should be most thankful. I am poor as muck, but have some heart left to give (that which has not been eaten up by the boys and their Mum). So that bit is yours if you keep them seeing sunrises. Thanks.

[This missal commemorates the founding of Rosymorn Monastery.]
For my sins, it only just occurred to me that I had lacked in my record-keeping of late. But then again, I, no, we have been busy. In our fray with the Sharran thieves we retrieved the Blood - but one of the heretics sinned most heinously. They struck the amber encasing His Blood with a maul of pure void, damaging the most holy relic. As if knowing of this blasphemy, the exposed Blood shone with an unbreakable radiance, reducing the Sharran horde to dust for us to sift from this now-holy ground.
The relic became far too unstable to carry back to Hap. Thus we fashioned a simple chapel around ourselves here, and have encased the Blood within steel - to be wielded as a most righteous cudgel against those who sit in shadow.
To keep it from the lustful sacrilege of thievery, our simple chapel will become a great monastery, and the Blood shall be secreted away with a great many more wiles than it was before. I find it hard to fathom that we left such an artefact in such an obvious, open space to begin with. Alas - His light singes away the mistakes of the past, leading to a more fortuitous dawn indeed.
Achievement:
Steal the Blood of Lathander from underneath Rosymorn Monastery.
Item Descriptions:
Autumncrocus is an alchemical ingredient. Combine 3 of these to create a Sublimate of Autumn Crocus, which is used to make Potion of Feather Fall.
Legend says the first crocus was created by Lathander, the Morninglord, which is why this delicate flower is always found stretching its petals towards the sun.
Dawnmaster's Crest can be used during the quest Find the Blood of Lathander to disable the artefact's defences in the Rosymorn Monastery.
This unusually shaped crest bears the markings of a Lathanderian high priest, but its practical function is unclear.
A Holy Lance Helm is an uncommon Helmet that potentially deals radiant damage to creatures that attack the wearer.
Brief halos of divine light wrap your head when you don and doff this helmet.
Sentient Amulet is a rare Amulet that allows the wearer to cast Shatter once per Short Rest (with a drawback) and Ki Restoration (Lesser) once per Long Rest.
The amulet's spirit lingers, making everything seem a little more vibrant. Must succeed a Wisdom Saving throw when using the amulet's power, or become Hysterical.
The Blood of Lathander is a legendary +3 Mace found through the Find the Blood of Lathander quest. It continuously sheds light, blinds nearby Fiends and Undead with its light, can heal its wielder, and allows the wielder to cast Sunbeam.
Cast as a level 6 spell (6d8)
Sheds holy light in a 20ft radius. In combat, fiends and undead standing in the light are Blinded if they fail a DC 14 Constitution throw.
Once per Long Rest, when your hit points are reduced to 0, you regain 2d6hit points. Allies within 30ft also regain 1d6 hit points.
